A person can save a lot of money with rebates. When you get a good price for anything, wouldn’t it be nice to receive rebate every time? You can easily do it without any extra effort just like using your credit card. Don’t use the credit card to purchase for getting rebate rewards.

If you pay 17.99% yearly interest on any rebate credit card just to gain 1% rebate, this isn’t worth it. It’s better to use a cash back credit card when you want to spend according to the budget that means you use the credit card for the convenience only, and every month you will pay off the full balance.

If you like to fly on any particular airline e.g. Southwest, then you may sign up for a credit card offering you the rebates on a ticket of Southwest airline. This allows you to collect the rewards faster than the cash back credit card because the rewards are bound to just one company. Before signing up with any, you must read the terms of the service carefully.

Cash back is better because it give more and quickly. Some credit cards rewards more than others like offering 1% back on all the non-gas purchases and 3% on all gas purchases. Here, if you want to get higher rebates on all purchases then you may require spending much, otherwise you will receive only 0.5% cash back. The amount you get back depends on the amount used on the gas purchases. Some credit cards offer an annual check.

A shopping rebate is sales promotion technique used by marketers to boost up their product sales. The shopping rebate varies from product to product, and depends on time, and often place of purchase. A rebate is also known as discount.

The mail-in rebate, the best known rebate is an offer that entitles a buyer of a product to mail in a coupon, or a receipt and barcode in order to get a rebate of a particular amount on the bought product. Originally, the mail-in rebate was manufactures’ technique to encourage sales, by refunding the announced rebate directly to the customers rather than the retailers keeping it.
